Compass Point Housing is a private, non-profit provider of recovery housing in southern Ohio. We provide shared housing solutions for individuals in long term recovery from substance use disorders. Because of the nature of our housing and our residents’ recovery progress, folks usually stay in recovery housing anywhere from three months to over a year, in some cases. Our role is to provide a “home-like” atmosphere as residents gain social supports, and to make sure our homes are functional, inviting, and sustainable. As a non-profit organization we are careful in our spending and work to purchase products that are functional, comfortable, and durable.
I believe we began purchasing from Dyer Royce Manufacturing back in 2015 after receiving a recommendation from a local provider of university housing. I recall speaking with Clarence back then and appreciated that he was willing to work with us on a relatively small initial order. After that, our business expanded as we were able to acquire more additional properties for recovery housing. Dyer Royce became a consistent and valued supplier for all our furniture needs. Their quality and choice availability really made our job easy to equip all our properties. Their products are comfortable, adaptable, and very durable. Although our growth slowed somewhat during Covid-19, we value our relationship with Dyer Royce and have recommended them to many other agencies that provide housing and healthcare.
